We have a limited-functionality, audio-only mobile experience that is currently in beta. For the best experience, we recommend using a desktop or laptop device.
If you're on an Apple device, we recommend using the Safari browser. On Android devices, we recommend using the Chrome browser.
Note: World owners and admins have the ability to disable the mobile experience for their world. Learn more here.
Can I access Topia from my iPad or tablet?
Topia is available on tablet devices. There may be some limitation of functionality depending on the size of the tablet. For the best experience on Android tablets please use "desktop mode" in Chrome.
Note: embeddable content may be limited on iPads.
Low Bandwidth Mode
If you have a slow internet connection or are using an older device and experience a delay or lag in Topia, try using Low Bandwidth Mode. In this mode you will only connect audio-only (not video). This mode is useful if you're on an older device, or having challenges connecting to other users' video streams.
- In the left sidebar, click on the Video Settings
icon
- Under Mode, click the Low Bandwidth option

If you are using the Google Chrome browser, you can utilize the browser's Live Caption feature to add subtitles to your experience.- On your computer, open Chrome

icon and select Settings
- At the bottom of the Settings page, click Advanced and then Accessibility Captions
- Turn on Live Caption
