🏟️ World Capacity

Each plan within Topia has a different person capacity and we also offer add-ons for additional one-off capacity increases for your world. So, how do we define capacity?

Person Capacity

Think of it like an in-person venue capacity. The person capacity is the maximum number of people that can be online, in your world at the same time.

Example

You host full day conference where you expect up to 1,000 people to visit your world. Given the event schedule and the length of the event, you expect a maximum of 80 people to be online and inside your world at the same exact time. You would want a capacity of at least 80 people.

πŸ‘€ Adjusting World Capacity

Change the capacity of your world to limit the number of people who can be in your world at any one time.

Paid plans allow a specific number of users to be simultaneously in a world at a single time. Sometimes gatherings are meant to support only a certain number of guests. Adding a capacity to a world is a great way to curate your perfect experience.

As the World Owner, a Producer or a Manager you can change the capacity of your world by following these steps:

  • Click the World Settings icon on the toolbar to open the World Settings drawer and under General Guest Controls choose Guest Controls

  • On the Guest Controls page, in the field under World Capacity, enter the max number of guests for your world.

  • Collapse the page by clicking the β˜β† icon in the top right corner or close the page and drawer by clicking on the βœ• in the drawer

πŸ‘₯ Increasing Capacity

Planning an event where you're expecting a higher number of guests? World Owners, Producers and Managers can schedule a Temporary Capacity Increase for their world for the duration of the event.
