Follow these simple steps to update the size of your world:

  • Click the Settings icon on the toolbar to open the World Settings drawer

Note: Only world owners have the ability to adjust the size of the world.

πŸ“ Spawn Point: Where do guests enter the world?

Guests will enter your world in generally the same location. We call this point in the world the "spawn point".

By default the spawn point in your world will be at the center of the map.

🎯 Can I update or modify the spawn point in my world?

Easily change the spawn point of a world you own by doing the following:

  • Click the Settings icon on the toolbar to open the World Settings drawer

  • Click Layout & Location.

  • On the Layout & Location page, under Set Spawn Point, click Set Spawn Here.

  • Collapse the page by clicking the icon in the top right corner or close the page and drawer by clicking the β€œx” in the drawer.

Your spawn point will be updated to where your Topi is standing.

⭕️ What is the spawn radius?

To avoid guests entering the world on top of each other, we set a spawn radius. As guests enter the world, they will randomly spawn somewhere within the radius of your spawn point. By default, the radius will dynamically change based on the size of your world. If you would like to update the spawn radius of your world, please contact us at [email protected] or through the live chat on our website.

Create & Use the World Map

πŸ—ΊοΈ Viewing the World Map

A world map is a snapshot image of the world. To access the map of the world, click the World Map icon on the bottom left side of the screen. If the map icon is disabled (not clickable) that means the world owner has not yet generated a map of the world.

πŸ”„ Update the World Map in Your World

As the world owner, you can update the world map to include recent changes you make to the world. Follow these steps to generate a new version of the map:

  • Click the Settings icon on the toolbar to open the World Settings drawer

  • Click Layout & Location.

  • On the Layout & Location page, under Create World Map, click the Create Map button.

After a few seconds, your world map will be updated to the current snapshot.

Tips & Tricks

  • The map does not update automatically. The World Owner must click the button in the Layout and Location page to generate a new map.

  • If the map icon is disabled - no map has been created yet for the world.

  • If you're hosting a conference or festival, you can temporarily add text assets to your world like "MUSIC AREA" or "BLUE STAGE" over an area of your world. Then create the map (so the directions live in the map) and then delete the text assets in your world.
