📷  Turning Off Your Camera

You can turn off the video from your webcam by clicking on the camera icon on your video feed. While your camera is off, you will not be able to see other user's video feeds.

Disabling camera-off mode

The World Owner as well as Producer and Manager admins can disable camera-off mode by doing the following:

  • Enter your Topia world

  • ​Click the World Settings icon on the toolbar to open the World Settings drawer and under General User Controls choose User Controls

  • On the User Controls page, under User Video Options select Disable Video for Users.

  • Collapse the page by clicking the ❘← icon in the top right corner or close the page and drawer by clicking on the in the drawer

 


🤭  Allow Mute All

World owners as well as Producer and Manager can allow people to mute/unmute everybody around them to create silence. You can enable this option by doing the following:

  • Enter your Topia world

  • ​Click the World Settings icon on the toolbar to open the World Settings drawer and under General User Controls choose User Controls

  • On the User Controls page, click the toggle under Allow Mute All. When turned on, the toggle will show a check mark highlighted in blue

  • Collapse the page by clicking the ❘← icon in the top right corner or close the page and drawer by clicking on the in the drawer

When a user enables the mute all, it will not impact what anyone else can hear (only their own sound). To mute all, hover over your own video and click the mute all icon.

 


🖥  Hide Share Screen Button

World owners as well as Producer and Manager can prevent users in their world from sharing screen. You can enable this option by doing the following:

  • Enter your Topia world

  • ​Click the World Settings icon on the toolbar to open the World Settings drawer and under General User Controls choose User Controls

  • On the User Controls page, under Screenshare select Disable for All.

  • Collapse the page by clicking the ❘← icon in the top right corner or close the page and drawer by clicking on the in the drawer

 


👯‍♂️  Show Current Users List

Show the list of the users who are currently in the world to everyone present.

World Owners, Managers, and Producers can turn this setting on allowing everyone in the world to see a new page called Current Users in the This World drawer that shows all current users in a world. This also will allow anyone to find and walk to the location of any other user.

  • Enter your Topia world

  • ​Click the World Settings icon on the toolbar to open the World Settings drawer and under General User Controls choose User Controls

  • On the User Controls page, click the toggle under Show 'Current Users In This World' Page. When turned on, the toggle will show a check mark highlighted in blue

  • Collapse the page by clicking the ❘← icon in the top right corner or close the page and drawer by clicking on the in the drawer

 


🏟️  World Capacity

Change the capacity of your world to limit the number of people who can be in your world at any one time.

The Standard Plan and the Performance Plan allow a specific number of users to be simultaneously in a world at a single time. Sometimes gatherings are meant to support only a certain number of users. Adding a capacity to a world is a great way to curate your perfect experience.

Adjusting World Capacity

As the World Owner, a Producer or a Manager you can change the capacity of your world by following these steps:

  • ​​Click the World Settings icon on the toolbar to open the World Settings drawer and under General User Controls choose User Controls

  • On the User Controls page, in the field under World Capacity, enter the max number of users for your world.

  • Collapse the page by clicking the ❘← icon in the top right corner or close the page and drawer by clicking on the in the drawer
