🏞️ Add a Scene to the Marketplace
Once you've created your masterpiece, it's simple to submit it to the Marketplace.

Navigate to your world where the scene is located (this can be a free or paid world)

Click the Library icon

Click Create Scene

On the Create Scene page, add a name and a description

Toggle the slider next to Submit to Marketplace

Add a price or offer it for free

If you already have a Marketplace Account setup, skip to the next step. If not, click Setup Marketplace Account button and follow the instructions (this will navigate to Stripe Connect* to complete setup)

Click Save & Submit Scene
All submissions to the marketplace are considered User Submissions and are subject to Topia's Terms of Service. If you believe that any marketplace scene infringes or violates your intellectual property rights, please send a formal takedown notice to support@topia.io.
FAQs About Marketplace
I submitted a Scene for the Marketplace, when will it be available?
We have a member of the Topia team review every Scene before it is added to the Marketplace. As part of the process, a human will review each asset and any links or media that is included in the Scene to ensure that it complies with our Terms of Service and Code of Conduct. We will do our best to review Scenes as quickly as possible; however, this process may take 2-3 business days.
How much of the purchase price will I receive?
When a purchase is made through the marketplace, the payment processing fees are first deducted ($0.30 + 2.9%) and then 70% of the remaining balance is paid to the creator of the Scene, 21% of the remaining balance is collected by Topia, and 9% is paid out through our Commission system.
If someone purchases my Scene, how can they use the assets?
When a Scene is purchased from the Marketplace, the purchaser will have access to use the scene as well as each of the assets that are included in the Scene. These will appear in their Scene Library and Asset Library, respectively.
The purchaser cannot use assets acquired through the marketplace in a submission to the Marketplace. The assets acquired through the marketplace can be used in the Purchaser's worlds only.
Why do I need to setup a Marketplace Account?
In order to receive payments through the marketplace, we require anyone who submits a Scene (whether it is offered for free or a fee) to authenticate and create an account via Stripe Connect. By setting up this account you will have the ability to receive payments from the marketplace and receive payments for commissions. Topia does not collect or store any bank or credit card information, this is handled exclusively through Stripe.
